Cecil Sherill founded Total Comfort in 1985, after gaining experience working for a contractor aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, maintaining and servicing 2800 heat pump systems. Greg Lewis, Jr. initially worked with Sherill at Cherry Point. Together they have over 50 years in the service business.

Working at Cherry Point allowed them to get a real knowledge of the service side because of the large number and diversity in brands of equipment.

Total Comfort was founded on the belief that work should be performed like true craftsmen and as if we were doing the work for ourselves.
